This is a complete Driver install package with updated USB drivers . If you are wanting to update an existing installation, please use the USB Driver Update package.
The drivers provided on the GPC-6210 install CD are Windows Vista compatible.
After installing, the GTRAN Dialer program may error on startup - The Borland Database Engine (BDE) errors because Windows Vista User Account Control (UAC) will not allow files to be created in the root directory.
Need to reconfigure BDE so that it does not attempt to write files to the C:\ directory.
Process
Log in as an administrator and run BDEAdmin located at C:\Program Files\Borland\Common Files\BDE
- Select the Configuration tab
- Click the + to open Configuration
- Click the + to open Drivers
- Click the + to open Native
- Select PARADOX
- Click the [..] button to the right of NET DIR and browse to a location other than the root directory. A suggested target is C:\Users\Public\Documents\BDE
